1. Information We Use

We do not offer the option to create an account, therefore, we do not store and do not have access to your entries and data. Your data is only stored locally on your device, and all calculations are done on your device as well.

In addition, in order to provide you with more convenient and high-quality products and/or services, and strive to improve your experience, we will collect and use your personal information in the following additional services provided to you. If you do not provide this information, it will not affect your use of the basic services of the AcTEC application, but you will not be able to obtain the user experience brought to you by these additional services. Camera Permission

When you use functions such as "Scan to Import Configuration," we will request camera permission to invoke the Huawei Scan Kit (Unified Barcode SDK) to recognize QR code content. If you decline this authorization, you will not be able to use the scan-and-import feature, but this will not affect your use of other functions.

Gallery or Storage Permission

When you use functions such as "Select QR Code Image from Gallery to Import" or "Save and Share QR Code Image to Gallery," we will request gallery or storage-related permissions. These are used to read images you actively select or to save QR code images you actively generate to the system gallery. If you decline this authorization, you will be unable to use the corresponding image import or save functions.

Bluetooth Permission

When you use functions such as "Search for Nearby Bluetooth/NFC Programmers," "Connect to Device," or "Pair Device," we will request Bluetooth-related permissions to scan for, discover, connect to, and control nearby Bluetooth devices. This permission is only enabled when you actively use Bluetooth device features.

Location Information Permission

In certain Android system versions, Bluetooth scanning capabilities rely on location information permissions. To enable features like searching for nearby Bluetooth devices, we may request location information permission. This permission is strictly used for Bluetooth scanning capabilities and is not used for continuous background tracking, advertising, profiling, or any other scenarios unrelated to this function.

NFC Permission

When you use your phone's built-in NFC feature to read or write device tags, the application will invoke the system's NFC capabilities to complete tag recognition, as well as device configuration reading and writing. NFC data is used solely to implement device management and configuration functions.

Device Information

To perform system adaptation, permission adaptation, version compatibility processing, and app store redirection, we may locally read necessary device information, such as device manufacturer, system version, and application version. In principle, this information is only used for local functional judgment and will not be used independently to identify your identity.

When you actively submit feedback or logs, the relevant logs may contain information necessary for troubleshooting, such as device model, system version, application version, and operation process logs.

Contact Information and Feedback Content

When you use the "Feedback" function, we will collect the email address and feedback content you actively fill in, as well as the compressed application log files you consent to upload. This information is used for troubleshooting, technical support, and service improvement, and will be uploaded to our servers and object storage services.

Password Recovery Information

When you use the device password recovery auxiliary function, the application will invoke the system email client. You will then actively send an email containing the device GTIN, device identification number, encrypted password string, and attachments to the designated manufacturer's email address. This email is actively initiated by you, and the sent content will be processed by the email service provider.

Device Serial Number (SN)

In scenarios such as device identification, external device connection, device log uploading, and troubleshooting, we may process essential device information, including the device serial number (SN). Such information is used solely for completing device identification, ensuring service stability, providing technical support, and locating faults. It will not be used for advertising, user profiling, or any other purposes unrelated to this function.

We do not disclose your personal information to third parties. However, the following cases are excepted:

Sharing under statutory circumstances: We may share your personal information externally in accordance with laws and regulations, litigation and dispute resolution needs, or as required by administrative and judicial authorities in accordance with the law.

Purpose of Using Huawei Scan Kit

To implement features such as QR code scanning and recognition, as well as image recognition from the gallery, this application integrates the Huawei Scan Kit (Unified Barcode SDK).

Under specific device environments or system versions, the Huawei Scan Kit and its associated security components may access application package-related information—such as the software installation list, application package names, and version information—for the following purposes:

Initialization of the scanning service and assessment of its availability;

Compatibility verification with the Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) environment;

Verification of security certificates and network security capabilities;

Failure analysis and stability assurance.

Purpose of Using Alibaba Cloud OSS

Alibaba Cloud Object Storage Service (OSS) — When you actively submit feedback and upload logs, the log files may be uploaded to Alibaba Cloud Object Storage Service (OSS) for the purpose of saving and downloading troubleshooting logs. We only process this type of data when you actively submit feedback.

3. Your Rights

During your use of our services, we may provide you with corresponding operation settings according to the specific situation of the product, so that you can query, delete, correct or withdraw your relevant personal information, and you can refer to the corresponding specific guidelines for operation.
